AVANI Cypress Lakes Resort in New South Wales, Australia seeks a passionate Commis Chef - Breakfast to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. This role supports smooth breakfast service, prepares dishes, maintains hygiene, and collaborates with Front and Back of House to elevate guest dining experiences.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, experience in high-volume hotel settings, knowledge of HACCP and OH&S, and a flexible weekend availability.

Formación

• Experience in a hotel kitchen, ideally in breakfast service.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required or equivalent.
• Understanding of HACCP, OH&S and kitchen hygiene standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and deliver a high-quality breakfast service.
• Handle opening preparation and station setup.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist in developing menu items and recipes.
• Maintain strong communication between Front and Back of House.
• Support training and supervision of junior kitchen staff.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with WHS requirements.
