Job summary

The Fresh Collective is seeking a hands-on Bistro Operations Lead for Strathfield Golf Club. You will lead Bistro 18 service, oversee the Halfway Kiosk, and support events to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll manage floor service, coach staff, handle bookings, and maintain service standards, presentation and safety. Join a growing hospitality group with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in clubs, cafés, restaurants or similar hospitality.
• Hands-on leadership with a practical service approach.
• Strong communication and guest-service skills.
• Ability to plan ahead and resolve issues quickly.
• Rotating day/evening shifts; Monday–Sunday availability.
• RSA certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bistro 18 service from the floor and maintain supervision.
• Make day-to-day service decisions to keep operations smooth.
• Coach and support front-of-house team throughout service.
• Run pre-service briefings and allocate sections.
• Oversee Halfway Kiosk operations and guest flow.
• Manage bookings, large groups and upsell gently.
• Ensure presentation, cleanliness, food safety and RSA compliance.
• Support events and handle stock and cash-up tasks.
