The Fresh Collective is seeking a hands-on Bistro Operations Lead for Strathfield Golf Club, primarily responsible for Bistro 18 and the Halfway Kiosk. Reporting to the Venue Manager, you’ll lead service from the floor, supervise front-of-house, manage bookings and ensure guest satisfaction, safety and upselling.

This role offers career growth within an established hospitality group and a rotating roster across day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within a club, café, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
• Hands-on leadership and service approach.
• Calm, practical leadership style.
• Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Motivate and support a team through busy service periods.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge and passion for hospitality.
• Understand regular guests and build relationships within a Club.
• Think ahead to keep service moving smoothly.
• RSA certificate.
• Hospitality and coffee training is highly regarded.
• Rotating roster across day and evening shifts, Mon-Sun.

Responsabilités

• Lead Bistro 18 service with a hands-on floor presence.
• Make on-the-spot service decisions to resolve issues and maintain standards.
• Supervise, coach and support front-of-house during service.
• Run pre-service briefings and allocate sections, duties and breaks.
• Ensure Bistro 18 is prepared from opening to close.
• Oversee day-to-day operation, presentation and service standards of the Halfway Kiosk.
• Manage bookings and large groups, communicating with the kitchen.
• Monitor service flow, guest feedback and wait times; intervene when needed.
• Build relationships with Club members, regulars and guests.
• Develop team knowledge and encourage thoughtful upselling.
• Maintain standards of presentation, cleanliness, food safety and RSA compliance.
• Support functions and events; assist with stock, POS, cash-up.
