Job summary

The Fresh Collective is seeking a Casual Functions & Events Venue Supervisor for Strathfield Golf Club. You will lead and manage events across multiple spaces, supervise waitstaff and bartenders, and act as the primary client liaison to ensure memorable experiences.

Requires previous head waiter or venue supervisor experience and valid RSA certification; strong communication, attention to detail, and a passion for food and beverage. Flexible Monday–Sunday shifts with day availability Tue–Fri.

Qualifications

• 612 months previous experience as a Head Waiter or Venue Supervisor.
• Events and functions experience highly regarded.
• Strong communication, customer service and leadership skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Passion for creating memorable event experiences.
• Enthusiasm for food and beverage.
• Valid RSA certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage events across multiple spaces.
• Oversee all service aspects from setup to service to pack down.
• Supervise a team of skilled waitstaff and bartenders.
• Act as the primary client liaison throughout the event.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism.
