Job summary

The Adecco Group is seeking a technically capable Pre-Sales Engineer to join its growing team in Australia. This role sits at the intersection of sales, consulting, and engineering, supporting customers in identifying, designing, and implementing technology solutions aligning with business objectives.

You will work with commercial and technical stakeholders on networking, cloud, productivity, and cybersecurity services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Presales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant or Solutions Architect.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales and delivery to develop solution strategies addressing customer requirements.
• Engage in presales lifecycle: discovery, requirements, solution design, and proposals.
• Create technical docs, solution architectures, statements of work, and cost estimates.
• Assist in quotations, licensing recommendations, and implementation planning.
• Act as trusted technical advisor in customer discussions and workshops.
• Coordinate stakeholders to ensure technically and commercially sound proposals.
• Support transition from design to delivery and maintain accurate documentation.
