Job summary

BildGroup in Melbourne is seeking a Bid Writer and Submissions Lead to manage allocated submissions from start to lodgement, translating bid strategy into a cohesive narrative.

You will establish plans, coordinate contributors across operational, commercial and technical teams, and drive internal reviews to lift the quality of each bid. Strong writing and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in bid, tender, proposal or submission writing and coordination.
• Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, or engineering preferred.
• Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Strong project management with ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Ability to translate tender documentation into clear, client-focused language.

Responsibilities

• Lead allocated submissions end to end, from initial bid review and submission planning through to final lodgement.
• Establish submission plans, compliance matrices and review schedules to keep every deadline and requirement on track.
• Develop persuasive, client-focused written content including executive summaries, methodologies and project examples.
• Coordinate contributors across operational, commercial, technical and corporate teams, managing review cycles and holding stakeholders accountable to agreed timelines.
• Interpret tender documentation and evaluation criteria to identify and address all requirements, escalating risks, information gaps and delays early.
• Capture reusable content and lessons from completed submissions to continuously lift the quality of each bid cycle.
