Job summary

Abergeldie is a leading Australian infrastructure contractor seeking a Submissions Lead / Writer based in Brisbane (or Sydney) to drive high-quality, compliant bid submissions for major projects. You will work with bid managers and subject-matter experts to craft proposals that showcase capability and value.

You will lead bid processes, shape messaging, and ensure submissions are competitive and well-structured, contributing to growth in our Pre-Contracts team with a track record of successful

Qualifications

• Experience in submissions, proposals or bid writing within infrastructure.
• Qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to craft clear proposals.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills; manage competing deadlines.
• Confidence to lead bid review meetings and coordinate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Writing, editing and shaping persuasive content with bid managers and leaders.
• Preparing EOIs and tenders; sharpening messaging and ensuring submissions reflect value proposition.
• Lead bid processes including schedules, writing plans and review meetings.
• Capture knowledge and improve content management to keep submissions compliant and competitive.
