Job summary

Endeavour Group’s ALH Hotels Merchandise team is seeking a Category Manager - Trade to shape the beverages category strategy and drive growth across on-premise offerings.

Hybrid role based in Melbourne or Sydney, leading the 6-18 month strategy with data-driven insights, while coordinating with the Category Manager - Range and supplier partners to unlock opportunities and activations for major events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 5+ years in category management or similar.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience translating data into commercial strategies.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6-18 month category strategy for ALH Beverages.
• Drive category sales, margins, and profitability against budget.
• Manage promotions, pricing, and post-promotional reviews.
• Lead supplier negotiations and trading terms (CPI/competitors).
• Build supplier partnerships and activist programs for on-premise occasions.
• Mentor and develop ACM Trade team with succession planning.
