Job summary

JDA Print Recruitment in Melbourne is seeking an experienced New-Business Hunter to open doors, win new accounts and grow profitable revenue across digital print, commercial print, signage, POS and display.

You will identify opportunities, prospect through your network, referrals and targeted business development, and establish the business as a preferred supplier to procurement, government, corporate, retail and agency clients.

Qualifications

• You will have proven B2B new-business development experience in print, signage or related industries.
• You possess a strong, current network across the Australian print, agency, procurement, corporate and brand community.
• You have a track record of generating leads, opening doors and closing deals.
• You understand commercial awareness, pricing, margins and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Aim to build a strong active pipeline and convert opportunities into profitable, long-term partnerships.
• Identify and secure profitable new opportunities through prospecting, referrals and targeted business development.
• Cross-sell and upsell across in-house production capabilities, advising buyers on materials, finishing, signage and installation.

Job description

Amazing opportunity for an experienced new-business hunter, someone whose job is to open doors, win new accounts and grow profitable revenue. You’ll be providing solutions for digital print, commercial print, signage, point-of-sale and display.

You’ll spend your time identifying and securing profitable new opportunities, prospecting through your contacts, referrals and targeted business development, and establishing the business as a preferred supplier to procurement, government, corporate, retail and agency clients. As the full production capability is in-house, you can cross-sell and upsell the whole range, and advise buyers on materials, finishing, signage and installation with genuine authority.

Success here is simple to measure: a strong, active pipeline, and opportunities converted into profitable, long‑term partnerships.

You’ll bring

• Proven B2B new‑business development in print, signage or a related industry
• A strong, current network across the Australian print, agency, procurement, corporate and brand community
• A track record of generating leads, opening doors, negotiating and closing
• Commercial awareness, pricing, margins and profitability
• Sharp communication and negotiation skills, and the drive to work autonomously

Negotiable for the right person, the remuneration guide is from $90,000 plus car allowance and commissions.

You must have full working rights to work in Australia as visa sponsorship and relocation are not provided for this role.
