Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited is seeking an Account Manager based in Ballina with regular travel across the region. You will own a portfolio of customers, onboard new accounts, and drive growth while coordinating with internal teams to meet commitments.

You will be the main commercial contact for clients, building trusted relationships and proactively addressing needs and opportunities to deliver value and sustainable growth for Coates.

Qualifications

• Experience managing B2B customer relationships, accounts or service portfolios across construction or related industries.
• Proven ability to onboard, grow and retain accounts with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong customer advocacy and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers across the full account relationship, including onboarding and growth.
• Be the primary commercial contact for customers and build long-term relationships.
• Map stakeholders to understand operations, priorities and future requirements.
• Develop account plans identifying needs, risks and actions.
• Maintain CRM records with contacts, plans and opportunities.
