Job summary

You will manage a team of around 20 staff across light and heavy vehicles, drive productivity, schedule work, monitor KPIs, and foster strong customer relationships while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar service management role within the automotive industry.
• Minimum 5-7 years of service management experience in automotive.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
• Experience with light and heavy vehicle types.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and people management ability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on improvement.
• Relevant automotive qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the service department operations and ~20 staff.
• Develop strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and service.
• Schedule and allocate work to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
• Liaise with customers to address concerns and maintain relationships.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Contribute strategic input to overall business success.
