Job summary

Cembre is expanding its presence across Australia and seeks an ambitious Area Sales Manager to lead growth in Melbourne, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, Sydney and wider territories. You will build on an existing customer base while creating new opportunities in Electrical, Power Utility and Rail sectors.

You will combine technical expertise with relationship building and business development to drive long-term success, supported by UK and Global Group resources, while shaping the market

Qualifications

• Experience in Electrical, Power Utility, Rail or Industrial sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Technical aptitude to demonstrate and explain product solutions.
• Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously.
• Willing to travel extensively within Australia.

Responsibilities

• Expand Cembre's presence across Australian Electrical, Utility, Power and Rail markets.
• Develop new opportunities while growing existing customer relationships.
• Manage and support key accounts to increase market share and loyalty.
• Build and develop distributor partnerships across Australia.
• Deliver technical product demonstrations, training and application support.
• Work with consultants, engineers and project stakeholders to secure specifications.
• Identify opportunities within major infrastructure, utilities and rail projects.
• Attend industry exhibitions, customer events and networking activities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records and business development plans.
