Job summary

Quarrymans Hotel in Pyrmont, NSW, seeks an experienced 2IC/Assistant Venue Manager to lead day-to-day operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will recruit, train and motivate teams, manage rosters and contribute to service improvements while maintaining an inclusive culture.

You'll bring a minimum of 2 years in an assistant/ supervisory role, strong leadership and presentation standards, and be comfortable with evening shifts—including late finishes. RSA/RCG/ARCG are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an Assistant Venue Manager role or supervisor.
• Experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment.
• Proven ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
• Immaculate presentation and a strong focus on guest service.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Professional, driven and a strong team player.
• Proven ability to achieve personal, venue and company goals while meeting deadlines.
• Proactive individual who thrives on responsibility and takes initiative.
• Strong gaming knowledge is essential.
• Current RSA, RCG and ARCG qualifications.
• Roster flexibility for evening shifts with some day shifts.
• Hands-on approach to operations including regular bar shifts.
