Job summary

Merivale's Queens Hotel in Sydney's precinct seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead all venues within the Queens Precinct. You will be the face of this iconic space, driving an exceptional guest experience across food, beverage, retail, and operations, with accountability for budget, safety, and compliance.

You will recruit and develop talent, align with stakeholders, and push product development while upholding WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Strong background in licensee and compliance.
• Experience in large-scale or multi-site venues.
• Hospitality background with WHS and regulatory knowledge.
• Commercially astute people manager with leadership experience.
• Ability to drive growth and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the venue budget, objectives, and deliverables.
• Drive financial performance and communicate targets to the team.
• Deliver quality guest experience through food, beverages, retail, and ambiance.
• Drive venue direction and product development.
• Exhibit elite leadership across all areas of the business.
• Foster cohesion between the venue team and stakeholders.
• Support asset protection and regulatory compliance, including food safety.
• Recruit, induct and retain key talent.
• Partner with community stakeholders.
