Job summary

Funlab in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager at our Darling Harbour venue. You will lead a high-energy hospitality team, deliver memorable guest experiences, and drive revenue through strong shift leadership.

The role requires RSA, the ability to work nights and weekends, and a hands-on approach across front and back of house operations in a multi-venue entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• RSA certification required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Experience across bars, kitchens and functions.
• Strong administrative and rostering capabilities.
• Guest-focused hospitality leadership.

Responsibilities

• Be a hands-on, guest-obsessed leader, motivating and driving your team to provide memorable guest experiences.
• Drive revenues by running killer shifts and going above and beyond for our guests.
• Create WOW spaces where you and the team can take FUN to the next level!
• Support and inspire an energetic team of hospitality superstars.
• Assist in managing Front of House & Back of House operations, including rosters, training, P&L management, forecasting, casual recruitment, COGs, and labour.
• Continue to build an amazing, collaborative, and inclusive culture.
• Develop and upskill your team members and yourself.
• Learn the ropes of managing all aspects of a busy, multi-faceted entertainment venue.
