The Warwick, part of Oscars Group, is seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join the team in NSW on a full-time basis. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee gaming, food and beverage, customer experience and compliance while leading a diverse hospitality team.

Candidates should have senior hospitality leadership experience, a hands-on management style and NSW RSA/RCG qualifications.

Competenze

• Current NSW RSA and RCG qualifications.
• Experience in Duty Manager or senior hospitality leadership.
• Strong gaming experience and knowledge of gaming operations and compliance.
• Proven ability to coach, develop and lead hospitality teams.

About the Venue:

Located within the Holiday Inn Warwick Farm precinct, The Warwick is a busy and diverse hospitality venue featuring an open kitchen, wood-fired pizza, sports bar, beer garden, VIP lounge, retail liquor and a large-scale Events Centre.

With a strong local customer base and a diverse range of hospitality and events offerings, The Warwick is a fast-paced venue that requires strong operational leadership across the business.

About the Role:

Are you an experienced Duty Manager looking to take the next step in your career?

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Venue Manager to join The Warwick on a full-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Duty Manager or experienced hospitality leader who is ready to take on greater responsibility, develop their leadership skills and step into an Assistant Venue Manager position.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and wider management team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the venue, supporting gaming, food and beverage, customer experience, compliance and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day operations of The Warwick and Events Centre

Lead, coach and develop a diverse hospitality team

Support and develop Department Managers and emerging leaders

Drive high standards across gaming, food and beverage, customer service and venue presentation

Assist with venue performance, labour costs and key financial targets

Ensure compliance with all gaming, liquor, RSA, RCG and WHS requirements

Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders

Support rostering, labour management and team performance

Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and overall venue performance

Lead by example and foster a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture

About You:

You may currently be working as a Duty Manager or senior hospitality supervisor and be ready for your next career move.

We're looking for someone with:

Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or in a similar senior hospitality role

Strong gaming experience and a sound understanding of gaming operations and compliance

Experience leading, training and developing hospitality teams

A genuine interest in coaching and developing emerging leaders

Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills

A hands-on management style with the ability to lead from the front

Current NSW RSA and RCG qualifications

The flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
