Job summary

Oscars Group is seeking an experienced WHS & Injury Management Advisor to support venues across its hospitality operations. You will drive a strong safety culture, support injured workers with effective return-to-work plans and ensure compliance with WHS legislation.

Reporting to the Talent & Culture leadership team, you will provide practical WHS support across pubs, bars, restaurants, gaming and accommodation operations. Join a dynamic team committed to safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in WHS, injury management or return to work coordination.
• Strong understanding of workplace health & safety legislation and workers compensation processes.
• Experience within hospitality, multi-site or fast-paced operational environments highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build trust and influence leaders at all levels.
• A practical, solutions-focused and empathetic approach.
• RTW Coordinator certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workplace injury management and return to work processes.
• Develop and manage suitable duties programs and RTW plans.
• Liaise with injured workers, managers, insurers, medical providers and rehabilitation specialists.
• Monitor claims, maintain accurate records and support positive claim outcomes.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct workplace risk assessments and safety inspections.
• Support WHS compliance across venues and operations.
• Assist with policy development, safety systems and reporting.
• Deliver WHS guidance, coaching and training to leaders and teams.
• Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across the business.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive WHS & Injury Management Advisor to support our venues and operational teams across our hospitality business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about workplace safety, injury management, compliance and creating positive outcomes for team members.

Working closely with venue leaders, operations and the Talent & Culture team, you will play a key role in driving a strong safety culture, promoting wellbeing initiatives, supporting injured workers through effective return to work plans, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety legislation.

Reporting to the Talent & Culture leadership team, you will provide practical WHS and injury management support across multiple hospitality venues including pubs, bars, restaurants, gaming and accommodation operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, working collaboratively with leaders and taking a hands, on approach to safety and wellbeing in a fast-paced environment.
