Job summary

Prouds Salamander Bay is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with the Store Manager and have opportunities to step up and lead when required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience (Assistant Manager, 2IC, 3IC or senior sales)
• Passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Ability to coach, motivate and support others to achieve sales results
• Confidence to lead the store when required
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities calmly and professionally
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers and team
• Polished, professional approach with resilience and high standards

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and maximise sales opportunities.
• Coach and motivate team members to achieve sales goals.
• Take ownership of store performance when the Store Manager is away.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Team Members.
• Assist with stock, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention.
• Foster a positive, accountable team culture where performance is recognised.
