Job summary

Prouds Runaway Bay is seeking an energetic Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive exceptional customer experiences. You will work closely with the Store Manager, coaching staff and delivering sales results while upholding the brand’s trusted reputation.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Manager, 2IC, 3IC or senior sales professional ready for the next step.
• Genuine passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• The ability to coach, motivate and support others to achieve strong sales results.
• Confidence to step up and lead the store when required.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems calmly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with customers and your team.
• A polished, professional approach with resilience, positivity and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to lead, inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, building authentic customer relationships and maximising every sales opportunity.
• Coach and motivate Team Members to achieve individual and store sales goals.
• Take ownership of store performance and operations when the Store Manager is away.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Team Members.
• Assist with store operations including inventory, administration, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention.
• Help create a positive, accountable team culture where great performance is recognised and celebrated.
