Job summary

Prouds Marion is seeking an ambitious Assistant Store Manager to join Australia’s largest jewellery retailer. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.

You’ll also step up to lead the store when required, support recruitment, onboarding, and development of Team Members, and oversee inventory, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention to sustain a positive, high‑performing culture.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Manager or senior sales professional.
• Genuine passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Ability to coach, motivate and support others to achieve sales results.
• Confidence to step up and lead the store when required.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing sales team and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Coach and motivate team members to achieve individual and store sales goals.
• Lead by example on the shop floor and maximise sales opportunities.
• Take ownership of store performance and operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members.
• Assist with inventory, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention.
• Foster a positive, accountable team culture with high standards.
