Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality is seeking a Full-time Assistant Night Manager for Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park, Sydney. The role supports the Night Manager and Duty Management team, ensuring smooth night operations and guest satisfaction at a dynamic, globally recognised brand.

You will lead scheduling, emergency procedures, and cross-team communication while upholding service standards and local compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar role, preferably in hospitality.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form.
• Willingness to work night shifts and handle after-hours duties.
• Must hold or be able to obtain First Aid certificate and VIC RSA Certificate.
• Meet the legal requirements to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Love the brand and be a great ambassador of Holiday Inn Express.
• Stay highly organised with scheduling, activity planning and task delegation.
• Collaborate with Night Manager and Duty Management team.
• Lead in hotel emergency procedures and assist in regulatory safety compliance.
• Communicate clearly and adaptively with diverse guests and colleagues.
• Contribute to problem solving as the business grows.
