Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality is seeking an experienced Hotel Duty Manager for Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park, Sydney. You will lead the team, work with the Hotel Manager, and ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

If you bring strong leadership, clear communication, and a problem-solving mindset, you will help maintain brand standards and deliver outstanding service with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous accommodation hotel experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills to drive for results.
• Effective spoken and written communication.
• Professional and personable with a can-do attitude.
• Sound judgement and calm decision-making under pressure.
• Flexibility to work between days and nights; PMS experience required.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced HotelDuty Manager, someone smart and considerate - a problem solving genius that takes pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. Working with the Hotel Manager, you'll lead the team to success, rolling up your sleeves and working side by side to deliver a superior product. You'll take responsibility for compliance and quality, including the satisfaction of both our guests and staff - ensuring brand and company standards are maintained.

About you

• Must have previous accommodation hotel experience in a similar role
• Strong Leadership skills in managing teams to drive for results
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form
• Professional and personable, with a can-do attitude.
• You're pre-equipped with sound judgement, even under pressure – you'll have a heap of responsibility right off the bat
• You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
• You will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid certificate and a SA RSA Certificate
• Be flexible to work between days and nights as required.
• Have PMS experience - PM Pro preferred.
