Camden Hire, a family-owned hire and rental company serving the Macarthur and Greater Sydney regions, seeks an Assistant Manager to coordinate hire activities and logistics, and assist the Manager in running the Branch.

You’ll join a supportive team that values workmanship, safety and customer service. This role covers opening/closing branches, quotes, bookings, invoicing, stock checks and inter-branch coordination, with ongoing training and social events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a previous managerial role.
• Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn internal company software.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Opening / Closing of branches.
• Provide customers with an outstanding experience onsite and instore.
• Coordinate hire requirements and provide accurate advice on timeframes, availability and costs.
• Collaborate with branches/divisions to coordinate outcomes for customers.
• Organise and coordinate transport to fulfil customer requirements.
• Create hire schedules, quotes, bookings and invoicing.
• Carry out equipment stock takes.
• Manage time to meet operational priorities.
• Ensure WHS and safety procedures are followed.
• Report to Division and Branch Managers.
