Job summary

Classic Hire in Western Australia is seeking a motivated Assistant Branch Manager to help run our busy North of the River branch. This full-time, hands-on role works closely with the Branch Manager to manage daily operations, customer service, equipment hire, and administration.

You'll develop leadership skills and a long-term career in branch management with Classic Hire, with training, team support and clear opportunities for progression within our WA-owned business.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager with day-to-day running.
• Assist with leadership and supervision of the branch team.
• Provide excellent customer service face-to-face and over the phone.
• Prepare hire contracts, bookings and customer orders.
• Coordinate equipment availability, deliveries, returns and transfers.
• Ensure equipment is ready and presented correctly for customers.
• Assist with stock and inventory control.
• Maintain high safety, housekeeping and compliance standards.
• Complete administration, data entry and reporting.
• Help resolve customer and operational issues.
• Work with the team to improve branch operations.
• Step up to assist with managing the branch when the Branch Manager is unavailable.
