Job summary

Goodstart Narre Warren South is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director in delivering high-quality early learning and care. The role involves mentoring the centre team, driving continuous improvement, and fostering strong relationships with families and the local community.

You will collaborate with our leadership team, ensuring smooth operations, safeguarding, and adherence to the Goodstart Practice Guide while contributing to a thriving Not-for-Profit centre.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training (Geccko).
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to deliver high-quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Oversee centre operations in the Centre Director's absence.
• Implement the Goodstart Practice Guide within daily routines.

Centre: Goodstart Narre Warren South - Sherwood Road

Employment Type: Permanent Full Time (38hrs a week)

Pay: $ 44.39ph - $45.84ph + super + benefits

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart , you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In This Role, You Will

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

• Open 6.30am to 6.30pm
