Goodstart Aspendale Gardens is hiring an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director, drive improvements across operations, and lead a multicultural team in a long-running early learning centre. The role offers a permament full-time position with hours spanning 6:30am–6:30pm, and a focus on mentorship and centre-wide leadership.

You will work with a dedicated leadership team, engage with families and the local community, and contribute to high-quality learning experiences while benefiting

Employment Type: Permenant Full Time

Pay: $44.39 $45.84 p/h (depending on qualification and experience)

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Aspendale Gardens, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In this role, you will:

Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care

Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team

Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence

Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
