Job summary

Goodstart Ocean Keys in Clarkson (WA) is seeking an Assistant Director to join our vibrant early learning centre. You will work with the Centre Director to lead a dedicated team, drive continuous improvement across operations, and foster strong relationships with families and the local community.

As Assistant Director, you will leverage your leadership and expertise in early learning to inspire staff, implement the Goodstart Practice Guide, and ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning

Qualifications

• Prior experience in early learning and/or centre leadership is desirable.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills with teams and families.
• Ability to manage centre operations in the Centre Director's absence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Centre Director in leading the team to deliver high-quality early learning and care.
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
• Be responsible for overall centre management in the absence of the Centre Director.
• Implement and uphold the Goodstart Practice Guide across the centre.

As the Assistant Director at Goodstart you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

In This Role, You Will

• Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
• Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
• Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
• Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
