Job summary

YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to join the team on a permanent part-time basis. You will support the Coordinator with daily operations, lead programming, and guide a dedicated team to deliver safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

The role offers a supportive Not-for-Profit environment with community focus, opportunities for career coaching, and progression. Work is conducted on-site with flexibility during school holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or related qualification or currently studying towards it.
• Experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

• Assist with child-led, play-based programming.
• Provide guidance to educators and support staffing needs.

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You'll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.
