Job summary

YMCA Grovely Outside School Hours Care is seeking a capable Assistant Coordinator to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You will support the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and guide educators to deliver safe, engaging care for children.

This not-for-profit service prioritises community and inclusion. You will help maintain compliance, assist with staffing, and engage with families, schools and local communities to create a positive, fun learning environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or related ECEC or Teaching (or studying towards).
• Experience in children's programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.
