No.1 Roofing and Building Supplies is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for our Port Macquarie (Wauchope) branch. The role reports to the Branch Manager and focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales and branch growth in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a diverse team of customer service and warehouse staff, manage key client relationships, and develop product knowledge to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams and driving sales targets.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and stakeholder expectations.
• Knowledge of building or roofing products is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships including counter orders, calls, and order entry.
• Aim to meet/exceed sales and profitability targets.
• Lead and develop a diverse team of customer service and warehouse staff.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and grow the client base.
• Develop deep knowledge of products and value propositions.
• Identify opportunities and viable income streams for the branch.
• Support team operations including machines, loading, stores, and scheduling.

No 1 Roofing & Building Supplies is one of the largest wholesale suppliers of metal roofing and building products, servicing Sydney, Central Coast, Hunter, and Mid North Coast regions. We’ve been servicing the Building and Construction industry since 2001, allowing us to build strong and valued relationships with our customers and the most trusted brands in the Australian Building industry.

We’re looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join the highly successful and growing team at our Port Macquarie (Wauchope) branch, on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is an essential role in ensuring that our customer’s needs are satisfied, and our service and growth targets are achieved.

Your work may include:

• Management of customer relationships including; counter orders, calls, order entry, ongoing support
• Meeting and exceeding sales and profitability targets,
• Management and development of a diverse team of customer service and warehouse staff
• Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients, as well as working to increase our client base
• Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
• Identifying and mapping business opportunities and viable income streams
• Operations assistance to the team including operating machines, loading, stores management and scheduling
