Job summary

Jaybro Group in Mackay is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our Mackay location. You will oversee sales, customer service, warehousing and last-mile delivery, delivering profitable revenue growth for the region.

Reporting to the State Business Manager, you will build a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, manage budgets, and champion safety and continuous improvement. This is a full-time role with strong progression potential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in infra/construction or related sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L, budgets and forecasting experience.
• People leadership with ability to coach and develop teams.
• Strong safety focus and compliance mindset.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with CRM and business systems (Salesforce/SAP preferred).

• Champion safety and continuous improvement, maintaining high HSEQ standards while identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and branch performance.

We are looking for a Branch Manager to lead our Mackay location. Reporting to the State Business Manager.

In this Full-time Monday to Friday role, you will be responsible for delivering profitable revenue growth across sales, customer service, warehousing, and last-mile delivery for the region. This role is focused on driving market share, margin expansion, customer retention, and operational performance in the respective region.

• Drive operational excellence, ensuring efficient order-to-delivery, inventory, logistics and workforce management.
• Build strong customer partnerships, developing relationships with customers, contractors and project partners to drive retention and growth.
• Manage financial and supply chain performance, including budgets, forecasting, wages, stock availability, inventory turns and cost control.
• Champion safety and continuous improvement, maintaining high HSEQ standards while identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, productivity and branch performance.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience within the infrastructure, construction, or related industry.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasting, and overall business performance.
• People leadership capability, with a proven ability to lead, coach, mentor and develop high-performing sales and operations teams.
• Strong safety focus, with the ability to maintain and promote a safe, compliant working environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first approach and the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported by excellent interpersonal and negotiation capabilities.
• Technology and systems capability, with experience using CRM and business systems; Salesforce and SAP experience preferred.
