Job summary

Belgravia Leisure Heathcote is seeking enthusiastic, reliable Duty Managers to join the team. You will help supervise aquatic and customer service areas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons while overseeing pool plant systems.

Weekend availability is required; casual hours and shifts across mornings and evenings are on offer. Prior in-role experience is valued but not essential, with training provided to support water quality, safety and venue operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold current First Aid Level 2 and CPR.
• WWC Check or equivalent is required.
• Current National Police Check is required.
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate and Pool Operations Certificate are preferred.
• Background check may be requested during the application process.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and enjoyment in facility areas, including pools.
• Oversee pool plant systems and water quality management.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist with daily operations.
• Be available to work weekends and casual hours across mornings/evenings.

This is a great opportunity for qualified, friendly and skilled Aquatic Duty Manager to join the team!

About the Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers to join the team. Our Duty Managers are responsible for ensuring that areas within the facility, from customer services and pools, are a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. They are also responsible for pool plant systems which requires technical knowledge of plant rooms and water quality principles.

You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun.

You must be available to work on the weekends. We currently have approximately 15 casual hours per week on offer.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within an aquatic environment
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
