Job summary

Belgravia Leisure operates the Redcliffe War Memorial Swimming Pool and is seeking a qualified Aquatic Duty Manager to lead the aquatics team and ensure safe, smooth centre operations in the Centre Manager's absence.

The role covers café, aquatics, health club and events with shifts mornings/evenings/weekends, focusing on community service and service delivery. Certification in First Aid, CPR, Blue Card and pool qualifications is required.

• Demonstrated leadership experience to inspire others
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety guidelines and emergency procedures
• Experience in plant room management and pool operations
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates
• Blue Card (Working with Children) and National Police Check clearance
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate

The Role

The Aquatic Duty Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the safety, evacuation and operation of the entire centre in the absence of the Centre Manager and to direct day to day activities of the café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.
