Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Redcliffe, QLD is seeking an Aquatic Duty Manager to oversee safety, operations and staff in the absence of the Centre Manager.

You will manage café, aquatics, health club programs, events and customer service, with requirements including lifeguard and first aid qualifications, and availability mornings, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others.
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in pool operations and plant room management.
• Availability mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certificate.
• Blue card - Working with Children's check and National Police Check clearance.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Current Pool Operations Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, evacuation and operation of the centre in the absence of the Centre Manager.
• Direct day-to-day activities of café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.

The Role

TheAquatic Duty Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the safety, evacuation and operation of the entire centre in the absence of the Centre Manager and to direct day to day activities of the café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• Blue card - Working with Children's check and National Police Check clearance
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate
