Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking an Aquatic Duty Manager at Redcliffe to oversee safety, evacuation and operation of the centre in the absence of the Centre Manager, and to lead day-to-day activities across café, aquatics, health club and sports programmes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, excellent communication, and knowledge of WHS and pool operations, with availability mornings, evenings and weekends. Join a growing community-focused leisure group on the Queensland coast.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience to direct staff.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of work health and safety guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Experience with pool operations and plant room management.
• Available mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

The Role

TheAquatic Duty Manager's primary responsibility is to oversee the safety, evacuation and operation of the entire centre in the absence of the Centre Manager and to direct day to day activities of the café, aquatics, health club, sports programmes, private hires, events and customer service staff.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Demonstrated experience of plant room management and Pool operations is essential
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• Blue card - Working with Children's check and National Police Check clearance
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate
