Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager for Heathcote Swimming Pool to ensure safe, high-quality service in a busy community aquatic facility. Responsibilities include supervising customer services and pool areas, maintaining water quality, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Applicants must hold First Aid, CPR, WWC, Police Check, Lifeguard and Pool Operations certificates. Weekend availability is essential, with around 15 casual hours weekly and a background check if requested.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
• Current CPR
• Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
• Current National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate

Responsibilities

• Ensure areas within the facility, from customer services to pools, are a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
• Oversee pool plant systems and water quality principles.
• Promote safety around the water and engage with the community.

This is a great opportunity for qualified, friendly and skilled Aquatic Duty Manager to join the team!

About the Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendlyDuty Managers to join the team. Our Duty Managers are responsible for ensuring that areas within the facility, from customer services and pools, are a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. They are also responsible for pool plant systems which requires technical knowledge of plant rooms and water quality principles.

You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun.

You must be available to work on the weekends. We currently have approximately 15 casual hours per week on offer.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within an aquatic environment
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
