Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Heathcote, VIC is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable Duty Manager to help oversee pool and facility operations, with a strong focus on safety and exceptional customer service. You will ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons and manage day-to-day activities across areas including customer services and pools.

You will also be responsible for pool plant systems and water quality, requiring knowledge of plant rooms.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of OHS/public safety within aquatic environments.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility areas, including pools, are safe and enjoyable for patrons.

This is a great opportunity for qualified, friendly and skilled Aquatic Duty Manager to join the team!

About The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers to join the team. Our Duty Managers are responsible for ensuring that areas within the facility, from customer services and pools, are a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. They are also responsible for pool plant systems which requires technical knowledge of plant rooms and water quality principles.

You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun.

You must be available to work on the weekends. We currently have approximately 15 casual hours per week on offer.

• Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)

• Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
• Current National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate
