Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking an Applications Support Analyst to join our Business Solutions team in Adelaide, SA. The role provides operational support for a diverse portfolio of business applications, including COTS and internally developed systems, with on-site or hybrid work arrangements.

You will investigate incidents, manage service requests, configure and administer applications, and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to drive improvements, testing, and change releases.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship with Defence Security clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Experience providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise business applications.
• Exposure to both commercial off-the-shelf and custom-developed applications - On Prem + Cloud.
• Administration and support experience with Jira Cloud, Jira Data Centre, and Confluence.
• Experience working with application vendors and external service providers.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management principles, incident management, and change management processes.
• Experience with application testing, release management, and system integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests, and system issues.
• Perform application configuration and administration activities.
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
• Support delivery of application enhancements and upgrades.
• Contribute to system integration activities, assist with testing and change implementation.
• Provide advice and guidance to users to maximise application effectiveness.
• Produce and maintain operational, technical, and support documentation.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and work with solution architects, developers, and project teams.
