Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Support Senior Analyst in Sydney to provide technical and business support for Citi applications, driving stability, efficiency and improvements in operational processes. The role includes start-of-day checks, monitoring, incident assessment, and coordinating with development and production support teams to prioritize fixes and releases.

Candidates should have 5–8 years in application support, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to coach

Qualifications

• 5–8 years experience in an Application Support role.
• Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
• Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and business support for Citi applications, driving stability, efficiency and improvements.
• Maintain application systems in daily operations and ensure service levels are met.
• Start of day checks, monitoring, regional handover and risk reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate with development and production support to prioritise bug fixes and releases.
