Job summary

The role covers COTS and bespoke applications, multi-technology platforms and collaboration with business stakeholders. The successful candidate will showcase strong problem-solving skills, broad systems knowledge and the ability to work with cross-functional technical teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Level 3 application support or enterprise administration.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications across multi-technology environments.
• Strong analytical and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working within ICT service management frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical application support and sustainment services across enterprise ICT environments.
• Diagnose, investigate and resolve complex application, integration and systems issues.
• Support the administration, configuration, maintenance and performance of COTS and bespoke applications.
• Work across applications, operating systems, databases and integration technologies.
• Contribute specialist expertise to incident, problem, change, risk and security management processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, application owners and technical stakeholders to maintain service reliability.

• Identify and recommend continual service improvement (CSI), automation and innovation opportunities.

About You

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Strong experience in Level 3 application support, application sustainment or enterprise systems administration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in multi-technology environments.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical problems.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience working within structured ICT service management environments.

Experience in one or more of the following technologies will be highly regarded:

• Windows operating systems and server environments.
• Microsoft SharePoint (on-premises).
• Java-based applications.
• Microsoft .NET applications.
• Apache Cassandra database administration.
• Blue Prism application support and sustainment.

Previous experience in secure government or similarly regulated environments will be highly regarded.

An active NV2 Australian Government security clearance is a must.
