The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Applications Architect to support one of our consulting clients on a Federal Government project in Canberra.

This role will provide technical leadership and architectural governance across a complex enterprise technology environment. You will guide solution design, influence technical decisions and support the integration and modernisation of enterprise applications.

Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, you will help deliver secure, sustainable technology solutions aligned with project requirements and organisational objectives.

This opportunity suits an experienced architect with strong technical expertise, sound judgement and the ability to navigate complex technology environments while delivering practical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance across enterprise applications and technology platforms.

• Experience developing architectural roadmaps and supporting technology lifecycle management.
• Ability to assess technical risks and incorporate security, compliance and governance requirements into solution design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience investigating complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience within Federal Government, critical infrastructure or other highly regulated environments is highly regarded.
