Job summary

Shopify is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer on the APAC team to advise merchants across Australia and New Zealand. You will blend technical depth, commercial awareness, and clear communication to guide multi-stakeholder decisions and define adoptable solutions.

Based in Australia, you’ll work hands-on, collaborate across functions, and leverage AI daily to accelerate discovery, demos, and validation. Travel for customer meetings and events is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Run deep discovery with merchants and partners to map requirements.
• Design architectures across Shopify stack, including migrations.
• Deliver tailored demos and technical narratives for merchant outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to shape opportunity strategy and remove blockers.
• Leverage AI to accelerate research, demos, and validation.
• Know when to go deep, simplify, or escalate to specialists.
