Job summary
Marketplacer is seeking a solutions engineer to join our APAC Sales team. You’ll bridge business strategy and technical capability, leading tailored demonstrations and technical discovery sessions to articulate ROI and drive enterprise deals.
Ideal candidates bring 4–5 years in technical pre-sales within ecommerce or SaaS, be comfortable with APIs and headless architectures, and embrace AI to enhance customer engagements.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering.
- 4–5 years experience in pre-sales or related roles.
- Background in e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or related SaaS tech.
- Strong understanding of APIs and headless architecture.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to adopt AI in the role.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead technical dynamic in sales meetings.
- Run tailored product demonstrations.
- Lead technical discovery sessions.
- Articulate value propositions to executives and client technical teams.
- Craft value-driven technical proposals aligned to client goals.
- Coordinate with implementation/delivery for clean handovers.
- Collaborate with partners to propose joint customer solutions.
