Job summary

Riskified is hiring a Solution Engineer for the APAC region, based in Sydney. You will work with Sales and Account Management to bring new solutions to merchants, identifying use cases and defining value stories.

This is an entry gateway into Product Sales Specialist at Riskified, with hands-on demos and a growing regional team. You will build deep product knowledge, conduct technical discovery and demos, and contribute to repeatable plays that scale across the APAC market.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Product Sales Specialist, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Support, or Implementation).
• Quota or performance-based compensation experience.
• Solid technical foundation including comfort with APIs and basics of web/ecommerce architecture.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive, curious mindset—comfortable learning new products in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across several merchant engagements.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Based in Australia, with willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive deal progression for Riskified's newer products across APAC opportunities.
• Lead product-specific portions of the sales cycle with Account Executives and Managers.
• Identify use cases and verticals; define positioning and value stories for each.
• Share regional quota with Sales; drive technical wins that convert to revenue.
• Deliver product demonstrations and answer technical questions from merchants.
• Design proofs of value and pilots with defined success criteria.
• Relay merchant feedback to Product and Engineering to guide development.
• Create repeatable assets like talk tracks and discovery guides for the team.
• Stay current on Riskified’s product portfolio and regional payments/fraud landscape.
