Job summary

SkyGeo is seeking a Business Development Manager to build durable relationships with customers across the Asia-Pacific region and drive revenue growth. You will ensure positive outcomes throughout the customer lifecycle, collaborating with Geoscience Consultants, Sales, Data Analytics, and Product teams.

You will understand customer objectives and workflows, identify opportunities, and connect clients with the right SkyGeo expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Technical Account Management or similar
• Proven ability to build and grow client relationships
• Experience with technical products and data-driven services for engineering customers
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-specialists
• Strong organizational skills and ability to map the sales process across multiple stakeholders
• Excellent English communication
• Entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset
• Willingness to travel within APAC

Responsibilities

• Develop and own relationships with SkyGeo customers across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Own and contribute to new revenue growth.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and work with technical colleagues to develop them.
• Develop and improve the business team as APAC customer base grows.
• Maintain regular contact throughout the customer lifecycle and proactively identify where customers need support.
• Help users adopt SkyGeo's products and connect them with the right SkyGeo expertise.
• Do prospecting and meet customers and attend relevant industry events across the region when needed.
• Trailblazing role reporting directly to the CEO.

Education

Graduate degree in engineering, geoscience or related technical field
