Job summary

Spotify in Sydney is seeking a Contractor - Client Partner to lead revenue growth with key Australian agencies and advertisers. You will manage a portfolio, craft tailored campaigns, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver measurable impact.

This fixed-term 12-month contractor role offers flexibility for some remote work while based in Sydney. You will build strategic relationships, present compelling proposals, and drive renewals aligned with Spotify's advertising portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in advertising sales or client partnerships within digital media.
• Strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape including programmatic, audio, video and display.
• Experience building relationships with advertisers and media agencies in the Australian market.
• Proficient with Salesforce to manage client relationships and sales pipelines; MS Office for presentations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Own quarterly and annual revenue targets for your client portfolio, managing your sales pipeline and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Build and strengthen relationships with media agencies and advertising clients, understanding their business priorities and positioning Spotify as a valuable strategic partner.
• Collaborate with agency teams across media buying, strategy, planning, programmatic and branded content to develop effective advertising campaigns.
• Translate client challenges and business objectives into tailored advertising solutions that deliver measurable results.
• Develop compelling proposals and respond to client briefs, demonstrating how Spotify's advertising solutions can support client goals.
• Partner with internal Sales, Marketing and Product teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience from initial conversations through to campaign delivery.
• Build an active network of client relationships through regular meetings, industry engagement and thoughtful account planning.
• Represent Spotify at industry events, sharing capabilities, insights and opportunities with clients and partners.
