Palfinger Australia, based at our National Head Office in Wacol, is seeking an After-Sales specialist to build strong relationships with service partners, end users and internal teams. You will handle spare parts and warranty enquiries and learn our systems with guidance from colleagues across Australia.

Qualifications

• Experienced after-sales professional or spare parts interpreter with initiative.
• Ability to learn Palfinger systems and processes and improve them over time.
• Sell and advise on spare parts and warranty servicing orders.
• Develop working knowledge of Palfinger Spare Parts range from small mechanical parts to hydraulic fittings.

Responsibilities

• Advise and sell spare parts for Palfinger materials handling equipment to service partners and end users.
• Learn and follow After-Sales systems and processes, contributing to improvements.
• Provide excellent support with spare parts and warranty inquiries with team backing across Australia.

About the Position

Reporting through to the Aftersales Solutions Manager, the primary objective of this position is to build great working relationships with our Service Partners, End Users, Sales Team Members and Technical Team Members and assist them with their Spare Parts and warranty servicing orders and enquiries.

Key to your success in this position will be your ability to learn the systems and processes used by our After-Sales Team as well as your ability to follow these systems and processes with a keen attention to detail and contribute to their improvement over time.

You will be advising and selling Spare Parts for Material Handling Equipment [specifically Palfinger Cranes, Hookloaders, Skiploaders and Tail Lifts] and to do so successfully you will need to develop a good working knowledge of the Palfinger Spare Parts range - which range from the tiniest of mechanical parts, through to hydraulic fittings and right up to major carne components.

Excellent product training is available and there will also be a high level of support provided to you from your Palfinger and Sime Motors colleagues across Australia - and more broadly from your Sime Darby colleagues around the world.
