Job summary

Palfinger, a division of Sime Motors Company, is seeking an Aftersales Representative in Brisbane to be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert support for spare parts enquiries and service-related questions. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely solutions and accurate information.

The role is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, with on-site duties and an emphasis on customer-first service and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or parts advisory roles, preferably in industrial/automotive environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive customer support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team player with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Greentree) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person, focusing on timely and effective solutions.
• Provide accurate information on spare parts availability, pricing, and lead times.
• Collaborate with internal departments (service, warehouse, technical) to resolve queries beyond parts.
• Process orders and returns in line with company policies.
• Support the Spare Parts Team Lead with administrative and operational tasks.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold high customer service standards.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information on spare parts availability, pricing, and lead times.

• Process orders and return claims in line with company policies.
• Support the Spare Parts Team Lead with administrative and operational tasks as required.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and uphold high standards of customer service.
