Job summary

City of Adelaide is seeking Visitor Experience Assistants to welcome visitors at the new Experience Adelaide Visitor Centre and around the city. You will share local knowledge, help guests plan their day, and guide them to events and attractions with a friendly, proactive approach.

Ideal candidates enjoy talking with people, are comfortable using digital tools, and can learn new systems quickly. This casual role includes opportunities to engage with the community and support a mobile information

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in customer service.
Comfortable using digital tools and learning new systems.
Ability to ride an e-bike confidently and safely (optional).
Excellent knowledge of Adelaide’s community services and attractions.
Commitment to high-quality customer service.
Resourcefulness and initiative with respectful interaction.

Responsibilities

Provide visitor information at the centre and on location around Adelaide and SA.
Welcome visitors and locals, guiding conversations and sharing recommendations.
Support the Mobile Visitor Information Bike and use digital tools to access up-to-date information.
Help visitors plan activities, routes, events and experiences in the city.
