Lawson Elliott Recruitment has partnered with a growing industrial business headquartered in Brisbane CBD, seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join the team on an ongoing temporary basis with potential permanency for the right candidate.

The role involves processing supplier invoices, assisting with ERP system testing and validation, and supporting the Finance team with month-end tasks. It offers growth opportunities as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Experience processing a high volume of invoices and payments.
• Great communication skills and the confidence to work with external suppliers.
• Sound knowledge of Tier 1 accounting softwares.
• Proactive and “outside the box” thinking.
• High problem-solving skills and solution-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and purchase orders for weekly payment runs.
• Provide assistance with ERP system enhancement, testing and validation.
• Resolve invoice, payment and accounts payable queries.
• Assist with managing AP inbox and supplier enquiries.
• Prepare accurate month-end reports and other deadlines.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist Finance with ad-hoc accounts duties.
